It is important, however, to make sure that your patio is properly ventilated and that the main house is sealed off from incoming smoke.

A tall glass of lemonade and a patio fan can be a life saver in the right situation. It is important to choose a fan that is recommended for outdoor use. Those meant to be used indoors can have serious warping and function issues: A patio fan that doesn't work doesn't do anyone any good.
